Hylomar Universal Blue is a non-setting, non-hardening gasket and jointing compound, supplied in a 100 g tube. It does not cure or set, which allows unlimited assembly time and permits later dismantling of components for service and repair. The blue compound is non-flammable, allows metal-to-metal contact, resists vibration, and can also be used as a non-curing thread sealant. It operates across a temperature range of -50°C to +250°C (-58°F to 482°F) and resists a range of fluids, including industrial fluids, oils, petroleum and synthetic diester lubricating oils, gasoline, kerosene, water/glycol and methanol/water mixtures, air, and turbine and piston engine combustion products.
