Description
The K2 Pumps 1 HP Cast Iron Shallow Well Jet Pump, 115/230-Volt (Model WPS10010K) supplies household water from shallow wells with pumping water levels up to 25 ft. below the pump. It delivers 26 GPM at 40 PSI with 74 PSI maximum pressure. The cast iron housing supports long service, and the pump self-primes after its housing is filled and a foot valve or check valve is installed. The ODP motor uses dual-voltage wiring for 115V or 230V installations. A factory-installed 30/50 PSI pressure switch starts and stops the pump with a pressure tank. Threaded suction and discharge ports fit common residential well plumbing. Before buying, measure pumping water level, target flow, pressure, pipe friction, voltage and system configuration; well depth or horsepower alone is not enough. CSA listed, certified for drinking-water system components. Use the curve and manual to check fit, setup, use and care.
