The Legend Valve 1 inch lead free press x MNPT elbow is designed to provide a dependable 90 degree transition between press connection copper tubing and male NPT threaded piping in residential and commercial plumbing systems. The press end connection eliminates the need for soldering, which reduces installation time, labor costs, and fire risk while maintaining a strong and secure joint. The fitting is compatible with ASTM B88 Types K, L, and M hard drawn copper tubing and can also be used with properly prepared annealed soft copper. An integrated O-ring design allows for easy identification of unpressed connections during pressure testing, improving installation accuracy. With a pressure rating up to 200 PSI, a vacuum rating of 29.2 inches of mercury at 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and an operating temperature range from 0 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit, this elbow delivers reliable performance across a wide range of applications while meeting industry standards for safety and potable water use.
