Magnetic Field Measuring
Atoms contain electrons which carry electric charges. Electrons move and swirl in a somewhat circular or helical pattern, causing a magnetic field. In some industrial and manufacturing processes, it is important to avoid or contain magnetic fields, so instruments that measure (called an emf meter) or detect (called an emf detector) them are essential. Most electromagnetic field detectors not only detect but also measure the amount of strength of the field. Strength is measured by two types of instruments: multimeters, which measure voltage in units called “teslas”, and by gaussmeters, which measure strength in a unit referred to as “gauss”. We sell those instruments, along with force gauges.
