It consists of natural hydraulic lime NHL 2 and trass powder acc. to DIN 51043 as natural Puzzolan. The stabilizing process of trass lime FL B 2 is effected through carbonation and hydraulic hardening. Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 is free from cement! Properties: Historic, cement- and gypsum-free natural hydraulic binder Reduces the risk of efflorescences High sulfate resistance Low-tension hardening process Very good subsequent hardening properties High elasticity High water retention capacity in the mortar Very good side adhesion at stone Low elasticity module Application: For the production of plaster-, stoneworking- and natural stone mortar, in particular in the ecological-biological construction of houses and apartments, in the renovation and preservation of historic monuments, for the reduction of the risk of efflorescence of salts damaging the basic structure of a buildings. Storage: Dry, if possible on wooden shelves and protected against draft.
