Single Acting Hydraulic Cylinders
Single acting hydraulic cylinders typically have round bodies with a single port and spring-return of the piston rod. Liquid is pumped through its single port into the cylinder to extend the rod. A pretensioned internal spring typically retracts the rod to effect continuous movement. Other features of a hydraulic system include hydraulic valves, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps.
