Description
The SUPPLYGIANT 1 Inch CPVC Male Adapter Socket x MPT Threaded Plumbing Fitting is designed to transition a 1 inch CPVC pipe to a male threaded connection. One end features a CPVC solvent-weld socket that bonds to pipe, while the opposite end has male pipe threads (MPT) that screw into any female threaded (FPT) fitting, valve, or fixture. This makes it ideal for connecting a solvent-weld CPVC system to threaded components such as shut-off valves, water heaters, meters, and appliance connections. Manufactured from high-quality CPVC material, it offers excellent resistance to corrosion, scaling, high temperatures, and chemical exposure for dependable, long-lasting service. For a leak-free seal, wrap the male threads with PTFE thread tape; the socket end installs easily with standard CPVC primer and cement. Suitable for hot and cold water lines, this fitting is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial water distribution and plumbing applications.
