Description
The WHEELER-REX 5590-24 is a hydraulic pipe cutter suitable for cutting cast iron, tile, and concrete pipes with diameters in the specified 6 to 24 inch range. Operates using the included hand pump, and is also compatible for use with a remote hydraulic pump. For pipe diameters of 6 to 24 inches (as specified). The chain mechanism squeezes and pops the pipe rather than rotating around it, requiring 2 to 3 inches of clearance for operation (as specified in the product design). This tool includes forged steel jaws and a hardened steel chain.
