Description
The CHICAGO-LATROBE 49914 is a jobber-length drill bit set comprised of 29 high-speed steel bits sized from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch in fractional increments. Suitable for drilling aluminum, cast iron, and steel, this set is specified for general-purpose machining. This set uses conventional point type (118° point angle) and right-hand spiral flutes with a 2-flute spiral design (right-hand cutting direction) for general-purpose use. Each bit has a straight shank and complies with ASME B94.11M-1993 standards. The bits come organized in a metal drill index for convenient storage and selection.
