Description
The CHICAGO-LATROBE 69900 Screw Machine Drill Bit Set includes 29 high-speed steel drill bits sized from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch, covering fractional increments by 64ths. These drill bits have a straight shank and a general-purpose point type, and are designed with 2-flute spiral geometry, intended for drilling materials consistent with general-purpose high-speed steel (HSS) applications; refer to the material/operation guidance for recommended cutting speeds and feeds. The bits are bright, uncoated, and have a screw-machine length classification with a 118-degree conventional point angle. The set comes housed in a metal drill index for organized storage and quick access. These bits are right-hand cutting and do not have through-coolant capability; use external coolant as appropriate for the workpiece and operating conditions.
