The CHICAGO-LATROBE 69865 is a taper length drill bit set with 60 high speed steel bits spanning sizes from #60 to #1. The drill bits have a straight shank design and an intended point for drilling cast iron (ISO K) and steel (ISO P). The maximum drilling depth is based on a depth-to-diameter (4xD) ratio. The bits are finished with black oxide and feature a right-hand cutting direction with a spiral flute and two flutes per bit.
