Description

The DEWALT DWE6423K 5 in. Variable Speed Random Orbit Sander Kit is a corded electric sander intended for use in sanding applications. It features a 3 amp motor with variable speed control, allowing the pad to operate between 8,000 and 12,000 orbits per minute (OPM). The tool’s shorter height features a shorter height compared to previous models, while its palm grip design includes a rubber overmold on the handle and supports comfortable operation during prolonged use.

Key Features of the DEWALT DWE6423K Random Orbit Sander:

Variable Speed: Adjustable from 8,000 to 12,000 OPM; see specifications for suitable applications.

Low Vibration Design: Includes a separate counterweight system designed to reduce vibration during operation.

Dust Collection: Features a dust-sealed switch and one-handed locking dust bag mechanism; compatible with DWV010/DWV012 dust collectors via a dedicated port (1-1/4 in.).

Abrasive Mount Type: Hook-and-loop system uses standard 5 in. pads for sandpaper attachment/removal.

Palm Grip Handle: Ergonomic handle design intended to facilitate handling during operation.

Corded Power Source: Operates on standard 120V power with a cord length of 4 ft. 6 in., providing consistent performance without battery limitations.
