The unit features two fully adjustable LED lamp heads that allow illumination to be directed precisely where it is needed along exit paths, corridors, and other safety areas. The LED-51 model includes 1-watt LED lamp heads, while the LED-52 model features higher-performance 1.5-watt LED lamps for increased illumination and spacing capability. Constructed with injection-molded UL 94 V-0 flame-rated thermoplastic housing, the LED-51/52 Series offers durable performance while maintaining a lightweight design suitable for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, retail environments, and other commercial interiors. The fixture operates on universal 120/277VAC input and includes a maintenance-free nickel-cadmium battery that provides a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during power interruptions. The unit automatically switches to emergency mode when AC power is lost, helping maintain safe building egress and support life-safety code compliance. LED-52 models are also available with remote capability, allowing the unit to power compatible remote emergency lamp heads such as JLED or RL-series remote lamps when additional lighting coverage is required.
