Built with proprietary wire-braid process technology, MegaSys MXG 4K hose is lightweight, highly Flexible, and qualified to ONE MILLION impulse cycles - it's a drop-in replacement for conventional spiral hoses. Using material science advancements, design expertise and processing technologies, we engineered a hydraulic hose that exceeds the performance of wire spiral constructions. This is done with the lower weight and flexibility driven by Gates wire-braid technology. Compatible with biodegradable hydraulic fluids like polyolester, polyglycol and vegetable oil as well as standard petroleum based fluids.
For use with GlobalSpiral Couplings [G20 Series]; Tested to industry-leading 1,000,000 impulse cycles; XtraTuff Plus cover on MXG 4K hose comes standard and offers 25 times the abrasion resistance of standard covers, as well as superior ozone resistance; Compact construction with excellent flexibility and lower force-to-bend for faster and more ergonomic installation (force-to-bend is 40 percent better and OD is 9 percent smaller); 30 percent lighter weight for easier handling and installation; Exceeds all criteria of SAE 100R19 and ISO 18752 280DC; exceeds performance criteria of SAE 100R12, EN 856 R12, ISO 3862 R12 (Size -16 also exceeds EN 856 4SP performance requirements); MXG4K-XTP passes SAE J1754 Class A cool-down requirements with GlobalSpiral couplings and meets Flame Resistant Acceptance Designation MSHA 2G; Temperature Range: -40 Deg.
