DLAX-PF-55G is a dedicated 55-gallon drum low level alarm designed to prevent pumps from running dry and to protect critical chemical feed processes from uneXpected interruptions. Purpose-built for industrial environments, it combines a rugged polypropylene suction pipe and float assembly with a bright visual warning and loud audible alarm to alert operators the moment drum contents reach a preset low level. Engineered for versatility, the DLAX-PF-55G is battery-powered, allowing it to be installed virtually anywhere without the need for eXternal power outlets or hardwiring. The lithium battery provides long service life to deliver years of uninterruptible protection, reducing maintenance and eliminating the downtime associated with power failures. A loud warbling buzzer and bright LED indicator cut through typical plant background noise and visual clutter so low level conditions are noticed quickly, even from a distance. This makes the alarm ideal for chemical feed systems, plating lines, water treatment skids, and any application where an empty drum could damage pumps, upset processes, or create safety risks. This model features Gizmo’s slip-on lid style drum mount, allowing fast transfer from one 55-gallon drum to another without threading or special adapters. Operators simply lift the assembly from an empty drum and move it to a full drum, maintaining the same alarm set point and suction depth for consistent operation across multiple containers. The lightweight design, makes handling easy while still maintaining a robust construction suitable for rough industrial use. Depth is easily adjustable with a single thumbscrew, allowing operators to set the eXact level at which the alarm activates, or to reposition the assembly for different drum types with no tools required.
