DLAX-PF-05G is a compact, battery-powered low level drum alarm designed specifically for 5-gallon containers, ensuring that critical process liquids are never uneXpectedly pumped dry. It combines a rugged polypropylene suction pipe assembly with a slip-on drum lid and an integrated level switch to provide reliable, standalone monitoring with no flowmeter for applications where simple “low drum in indication is all that is required. In service, the DLAX-PF-05G sits on top of the container, with the suction pipe eXtending down near the bottom so that the pump can draw from the drum while the float switch continuously monitors liquid level. When the fluid level drops to a preset low point set by the operator, the internal float switch actuates and triggers the drum alarm’s bright LED indicator and loud electronic buzzer, providing unmistakable notification that the drum needs to be changed or refilled. Because it uses battery power, the alarm continues to protect the process even if facility power is interrupted and requires no wiring to plant power or a PLC, simplifying installation and making it ideal for remote or temporary setups. The design is “always on duty in: once installed, the liquid suction tube is permanently attached to the alarm head, so operators do not need to reposition sensors or re-adjust probes during routine drum changeouts.
