The Growlite GLE Series LED Vaportight Work Light is a purpose-built horticultural luminaire designed to provide plant-safe task and egress lighting during critical dark cycles. Utilizing Growlite’s proprietary soft green LED spectrum, the fixture allows personnel to safely work in grow environments without disrupting plant growth or photoperiod cycles. Engineered for controlled environment agriculture applications, the GLE Series delivers approximately 1069 lumens during normal operation and 715 lumens in battery backup mode. This balanced output provides sufficient visibility for maintenance and safety tasks while maintaining plant-safe conditions. The low-profile vaportight design features a durable ABS thermoplastic housing with a diffused polycarbonate lens, providing even light distribution and long-term durability. The fixture is rated IP65 for wet locations, making it suitable for humid grow rooms, greenhouses, and washdown environments. Installation is simplified with integrated magnetic mounts and included stainless steel mounting brackets, allowing flexible attachment to racks, walls, or ceilings. A factory-installed line cord and plug further streamline setup in both new construction and retrofit applications. The GLE Series operates on 120V, 277V, or universal 120-277VAC input depending on configuration and includes optional 90-minute battery backup models for life-safety egress lighting. Units are UL listed for horticultural lighting (UL 8800), with battery models meeting UL 924 emergency lighting requirements. Additional features include 1-10V dimming capability, high power factor (>/=0.96), low harmonic distortion, and a wide operating temperature range down to -40 DegC for demanding environments.
