The Growlite GLH Series ARCHON DE Reflector is a high-performance horticultural lighting fixture designed for double-ended (DE) HID lamps. Engineered for commercial grow environments, the ARCHON DE system delivers superior light uniformity, safety, and ease of installation to maximize plant growth and overall system performance. The reflector features a fine hammertone surface with approximately 95% reflectance, increasing reflective surface area and producing more intense and uniform light distribution across the canopy. The compact optical design reduces the distance between the lamp and reflector, minimizing light loss and improving overall photometric efficiency. A key feature of the ARCHON DE system is Growlite’s patented SafeDElock socket, designed to enhance safety and ensure proper lamp installation. Lamps are inserted from the top of the unit and rotated approximately 172 degrees to initiate electrical connection, reducing the risk of arcing, improper installation, and electrical shock. The reflector supports both 315W and 1000W double-ended HPS or CMH lamps, providing flexibility across different horticultural applications. The system is designed for optimal coverage of approximately 4 ft x 4 ft, making it suitable for indoor grow rooms, greenhouses, and controlled environment agriculture setups. Installation is simplified with top-loading lamp access and flexible ballast mounting options. Compatible ballasts can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or remotely, allowing integration into a variety of grow room configurations.
