Description

The HUBBELL Fused Circuit-Lock® Pin and Sleeve Mechanical Interlock is a rated IP66 and NEMA 4X/12 for use in specified electrical applications. This unit integrates a disconnect switch with a pin and sleeve receptacle in a compact, non-metallic enclosure. The interlock mechanism includes an interlock mechanism that prevents plug removal while the switch is in the ON position, reducing risks associated with live circuit disconnection. A high-visibility red handle can be locked in the OFF position for lockout/tagout procedures; enclosure door is equipped with a locking feature.


Key Features of the HUBBELL Fused Circuit-Lock® Pin and Sleeve Mechanical Interlock:

  • Amperage/Voltage: Rated for 60 A at 480V AC (3-phase), rated for operation at 60 A, 480V AC (3-phase) as specified by manufacturer

  • Fusing: Integrated Class J fuse protection

  • Circuit Protection: Fused mechanical interlock design; no circuit breaker included

  • Plug Compatibility: Accepts Hubbell plug number 5Z917; compatible with #8 AWG to #2 AWG wire sizes

  • Enclosure Rating: Watertight (IP66), NEMA 4X/12 rated thermoplastic housing constructed from thermoplastic housing rated NEMA 4X/12; see manufacturer specifications regarding material properties

  • Operating Temperature Range: -40°C to +75°C continuous operation

  • Cord Entry & Connectivity: Pressure terminal screws accommodate cord sizes from 10 to 2 AWG; grounded brass contacts features grounded brass contacts as per product design specification

  • Spring-loaded Receptacle Cover: Neoprene gasket forms a seal when cover is closed and locked (IP66 rating)

  • Mounting Hardware Included: Adjustable external feet allow flexible installation options; screw mounting hardware provided

  • Safety Mechanisms: Plug-CheckTM indicates presence of plug prior to operating switch; handle may be secured in OFF position during lockout/tagout procedures; removable door allows wiring access

  • Certifications & Standards: CSA Certified, UL Listed for US and Canada; meets UL94-5VA/V0 flammability requirements
