Description
Henco PEX-AL-PEX is a multilayer style tubing, consisting of a seemlessly butt welded aluminum inner core, between two layers of cross-linked polyethylene. It is primarily used in radiant infloor and hydronic heating applications. The aluminum layer allows the tube to be bent into shape without trying to recoil, making the install a lot easier. Furthermore,it increases the heat transmission, and provides a 100% oxygen barrier. ASTM 1281 certified, conforming building code for infloor radiant heating. The minimal linear expansion coefficient reduces noise when installed in a heat diffusion plate.
