Description
The Goulds 6BF1MBB0 is a 15 HP, close-coupled, straight centrifugal high-head pump from the 3656 Series. It is constructed with a cast iron housing and a closed bronze impeller for continuous-duty water applications. The unit features a back pull-out design to facilitate internal component access without disturbing piping connections.
Hydraulic Performance:
- This pump is engineered for high-volume liquid transfer with a maximum flow rate of 580 gpm and a maximum head of 160 feet.
- Best Efficiency Point: Operates at peak efficiency at 400 gpm @ 125 feet of head.
- Best Efficiency Range: Maintains high efficiency between 225 to 510 gpm within a head range of 150 to 90 feet. Variable Flow Rates:
- 60 ft Head: 570 gpm
- 100 ft Head: 490 gpm
- 140 ft Head: 320 gpm
- 160 ft Head: 150 gpm
- Pressure Limits: Maximum case pressure is 175 psi Mechanical Construction:
- Materials: Features a cast iron volute, bronze impeller, and stainless steel shaft.
- Seal System: Utilizes a mechanical Type 21 seal
- Connections: Equipped with a 4-inch flanged intake and a 3-inch flanged discharge; the discharge can be rotated in 90-degree increments.
- Solids Handling: Spherical solids up to 0.5 inches in diameter. Electrical and Motor Specifications:
- Motor: 15 HP, 3,500 RPM, 60 Hz motor with a 215JM frame designation.
- Voltage: Configured for three-phase systems at 208-230/460V AC.
- Enclosure: Open Dripproof (ODP) motor enclosure.
